Or rather… ‘Who’ or ‘What’ is TOM?

The answer to this question very much depends on who is asking and who is being asked. Essentially, TOM is… A set of unique concepts that transcend all areas of business and private life and facilitate the attainment of success and personal fulfillment.

It’s a book; it’s a set of coaching guidelines; it’s a selection of training events and modules; it’s an 18 month leadership programme; it’s a team of highly trained professional learning facilitators… it’s… it’s… a lot of fun to present and amazingly effective at producing practical results for participants.

And the ‘who’? TOM of course is simply a character in a book who climbs a mountain and learns twelve valuable lessons on the way. Lessons that apply to both life and business, and that people who read about or learn about TOM seem to relate to. It’s a bit like: “If TOM can do it, maybe I can do it too? If TOM can create a good life for himself – get things done and have a good time in the process – then maybe the concepts will work for me.”

So we suggest, check TOM out. He’s easy to get to know and great to have in your corner. From the feedback we’ve had from literally thousands of people over a number of years and in a number of countries, we’d be very, very surprised if you didn’t get at least some benefit from applying the TOM concepts to your life and business; because… lifeis an interesting ‘business’; don’t you think?

TOM from Different Perspectives:

Independent Trainer:

‘TOM is a fantastic programme! I love delivering training like this. What makes TOM courses different is the emotion involved; the relaxed informal atmosphere; the unique way in which the course is presented; the fact that delegates won’t sit in the same seat twice in the day!’

Christine Kane, Professional Trainer, Belfast

Coach:

“The TOM concepts are applicable every time I engage someone in a conversation. This has helped me improve the effectiveness of my communication and particularly sales calls. I had previously been concentrating on the Trust and rapport with an eye on the Objective. TOM  has helped me to focus on the Motivation side to ensure an acceptable outcome.”

Graham Smith, Business/Corporate Coach, The Mycroft Group

Corporate In-house Trainer:

“I can now pass on the feedback … it’s all good and I’m even hearing that Finance Directors are talking about “feelings”! I would class that as a definite breakthrough… once again many thanks… no doubt we shall be working with you again and again and again!!!”

Frances Cooper, Axa Insurance

Training Organisation:

‘TOM is unlike any other training course that you’ll have experienced before. Because it uses unique training methods, you learn and retain more than you ever thought possible. You find out that your brain is an amazing device and discover how you learn best. You walk away feeling inspired because TOM gives you more choices in every area of life.’

Paul Rowley, Comply Training, Warwickshire UK

Joint Venture Partner:

‘The TOM approach to Multi-Sensory Learning is possibly the best ‘boiling down’ of that set of concepts that I’ve ever come across. Above all else,  TOM provides an excellent set of tools for guiding the delegates on my courses through the learning process. They are practical and easy to understand and and apply. Anyone who is serious about delivering high impact learning to any type of audience should go out and experience TOM for themselves.
