Steve Rhodes is an experienced Master TOM Trainer, Executive and Life Coach, as well as a Master NLP Practitioner. He has a real passion for self-development, people and behaviours and over 20 years commercial sales experience, in a number of senior positions. For the last 10 years he has been responsible for designing and delivering a range of international learning and development events ranging from employee induction to senior manager leadership and coaching programmes. All have been built around the client’s unique and specific needs.

The interventions he develops all involve brain-based learning using accelerated learning techniques and NLP based experiential thinking. Howard Gardner’s eight learning intelligences and Ross Page’s MILD KELVIN En-Lightning Learning techniques are all woven into the programmes to ensure the learning’s are anchored in the subconscious of every delegate attending. He uses his fascination with people and behaviours to really ensure his interventions are memorable and deliver the long-term sustainable transformational behavioural changes in the organisations he works with.

The most important element of the events is FUN. Over the years he has been accused of having the best job in the world as everyone has such a great time on his learning events and just as importantly he is told he always look as though he is enjoying himself!

His areas of expertise as a consultant are one-to-one and team coaching, individual and team development and performance, leadership, and management development. As well as being a master exponent of the TOM Concepts (Steve is one of the founding TOM Team members) he incorporates his in-depth knowledge of many psychological tools such as FIRO-B, MBTI, and Insights Personality profiling, as well as NLP, to enable people and organisations to make the changes in their lives they want to make.

Steve also specialises in areas of functional skill training and development. These range from Sales Skills to Customer Service/Care training. He has designed, developed, and lead programmes involving in-depth advanced questioning and listening skills, effective use of time, building influential long and short-term relationships quickly, rapport building, consultative selling, effective influencing and exceptional presentation skills. He has vast experience in both face-to-face techniques and telephone skills.
